Chocolate
Making Class

Follow cacao from the fruit to the finished bar, taste every stage, and make a chocolate bar that goes home with you.

From cacao fruit to your own bar

Chocolate, from the fruit to your hands

A hands-on workshop that follows cacao through the whole process, from the fruit to the finished bar, with a tasting at every stage and a bar you make yourself.

You taste the cacao pulp, the raw seeds, the dried and the roasted ones, a cup of cascara tea, the nibs, and chocolate bars with different cacao percentages.

Then you make your own: a pure bar of cacao nibs and panela, poured by you, with a whole table of Peruvian superfoods to make it yours. Maca, quinoa, goldenberries, sacha inchi, kiwicha, aguaymanto, canihua, coca flour, roasted tarwi and more, all of it coming directly from Peruvian farmers and native communities.

And between tastings there are stories: where chocolate comes from, the rituals built around it, its spiritual side and its long connection to love. It is a warm, hands-on table where kids are welcome and photos are part of the fun, and the bar you make goes home with you.

What you'll love

Why you'll love this

The whole process

Follow cacao from the fruit to the bar in your hand, one stage at a time.

A tasting at every stage

Cacao pulp, raw seeds, dried and roasted seeds, cascara tea, nibs and bars with different cacao percentages.

Your bar, your superfoods

Make a pure bar of cacao nibs and panela, then add maca, quinoa, sacha inchi, kiwicha and more, straight from Peruvian farmers.

History, ritual and love

Discover the spiritual side of chocolate, the rituals built around it and why it has always been tied to love.

How the workshop unfolds

What you'll experience

It begins with the fruit itself: you taste the cacao pulp, and then the seeds it holds.

From there you follow the seed through its whole transformation: raw, dried, roasted, brewed as cascara tea, cracked into nibs, and finally tasted as finished bars with different cacao percentages, one after another.

Then the table becomes a workshop. You make your own pure bar with cacao nibs and panela and top it with the Peruvian superfoods you like best, while the conversation turns to the history of chocolate, its rituals and the reason it has always been tied to love. When your bar sets, it is yours to take home.
